![]() ![]() Lamprey can be stored in a Fish Basket if you're feeling brave. A domesticated Ravager is helpful for gathering meat and hunting. A Raptor, Megalosaurus, Carno or Spino are great for taking out the extras. They hunt in packs, so use the Bola to subdue the one you want and kill the rest. Ravager: To tame a Ravager, knock it out with a basic Bola and feed it plenty of Raw Mutton or Cooked Lamb Chop. Once it matures, the Rock Drake can be mounted to scale walls, camouflage you from predators and warn you if an enemy is nearby. Nameless Venom is earned by killing Nameless. Once it hatches, baby Rock Drakes will demand Nameless Venom before being able to eat Raw Meat. Build a small, secure room with air conditioners to keep the meter going. With the egg in your possession, the next step is to keep it cool. When you do this, all Drakes in the area will attack, so be ready to defend against a barrage. You can’t tame an adult, so the only way to get one is to steal and hatch an egg from another Drake. Rock Drake: The Rock Drake is a challenging but rewarding tame. Look for it in the Mushroom Forest or River Valley. This is an easy tame, but you’ll need to craft a saddle. ![]() As long as you keep an eye on one, it will keep popping up from the same spot. It will only attack if you try to take the gems it unearths. The Roll Rat is a solid three-person transport that forages for herbs and rare materials. Throw more Honey into the hole to keep the process going. When first fed, it will burrow into a hole. Roll Rat: Tame a Roll Rat by feeding it Giant Bee Honey. Seekers swarm in packs, so it’s important to act quickly. Seeker: You can’t tame one of these aggressive beasts, so kill it on sight. Shinehorn can be found in the caverns and are a great source of light or raw meat. Just approach and feed it some Plant Species Z Seed or Aggeravic Mushroom to make it your own. Shinehorn: The Shinehorn is extremely adorable and poses no threat to survivors. This guide will constantly grow as we learn new strategies, but here are some basic tips to tame every new creature from the new ARK: Survival Evolved Aberration DLC. Feel free to suggest more dinos and locations for them to spawn.ARK: Survival Evolved was recently augmented by the Aberration expansion, and it adds over a dozen new creatures to encounter. Updates will be made to adjust spawn rates that may be too high/low. Redwoods(lantern creatures are individually uncommon due to their similarity): X Raptor packs (bugged, will be fixed and readded) X Rex (bugged, will be fixed and readded) Phoenix (rare) (Tameable without heat waves) Alternatively, wait a while for the new creatures to cycle out the old ones. Note: use command destroywilddinos to start spawning the new creatures on maps that have been created before activating the mod. ![]() For any who want to learn how to add your own spawns I suggest watching the youtube video linked above.
